#DettolIcyCoolChallenge Terms and Conditions
- ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
The #DettolIcyCoolChallenge (“Campaign”) is a consumer promotional initiative conceptualized and conducted by Reckitt Benckiser (India) Private Ltd., a company as defined under the Companies Act, 2013 having its registered office at DLF Cyber Park, 6th & 7th Floor (Tower C), 405 B, Udyog Vihar Phase III, Sector 20, Gurugram-122016, and having its branch office at The Executive Centre, Level 3B, DLF Centre, Sansad Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi-110001 (“Reckitt”).
The Campaign is managed and executed end‑to‑end by a single third‑party agency appointed by Reckitt (“Agency”).
Participation in the Campaign is voluntary. By participating in any manner, each participant confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these T&Cs and the annexures hereto. Participation shall constitute a valid and binding agreement between the participant and Reckitt.
- ELIGIBILITY
This Campaign is applicable PAN India except the State of Tamil Nadu as per the Tamil Nadu Prize Schemes Prohibition Act, 1979. The Campaign is open only to individuals who are residents of India and have attained eighteen (18) years of age as on the date of participation. Persons who are employees of Reckitt, its group companies, the Agency, vendors, consultants, or any persons professionally connected with the Campaign, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.
Reckitt reserves the right to verify eligibility at any stage and to disqualify any person who does not meet the eligibility criteria or has provided false or misleading information.
- CAMPAIGN DURATION
The Campaign shall commence from 3:00 p.m. on 29 April 2026 and shall conclude at 11:59 PM IST on 28 May 2026 (“Campaign Period”). Any entries submitted before or after the Campaign Period will be deemed invalid and will not be considered for evaluation or gratification.
Reckitt reserves the absolute right to modify, extend, curtail or terminate the Campaign Period without prior notice, subject to applicable law.
- PARTICIPATION AND CAMPAIGN MECHANICS
The detailed steps for participation, submission requirements and content guidelines applicable to the Campaign are set out in Annexure I hereto. Only those entries that comply strictly with the prescribed process and guidelines shall be considered valid.
All participation must be organic and original. Automated, templated or third‑party assisted entries, including the use of bots or engagement manipulation, shall result in immediate disqualification.
- SELECTION OF WINNERS
The methodology for selection of winners, including evaluation criteria and the number of winners, is detailed in Annexure II. The decision of Reckitt and/or the Agency in relation to selection of winners shall be final, binding and not open to challenge.
Reckitt reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these T&Cs, Campaign guidelines, platform rules or applicable laws.
- GRATIFICATION
Selected participants may stand a chance to win the gratification(s) specified in Annexure II. All gratifications are offered on a non‑transferable, non‑exchangeable and non‑cashable basis. Gratifications may be subject to availability, scheduling, logistical, travel or location‑based constraints, over which Reckitt shall have no control.
Reckitt shall not be responsible if a selected participant is unable to avail the gratification due to personal reasons, regulatory restrictions or force majeure events.
The Company shall only facilitate the opportunity for the selected winner(s) to participate in a meet‑and‑greet experience with M.S. Dhoni, subject to availability and scheduling. All costs and expenses of any nature whatsoever incurred by the winner(s) in connection with such experience, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, food, local conveyance, incidental expenses and any personal costs, shall be borne solely by the winner(s). The Company shall not be responsible or liable for payment or reimbursement of any such expenses.
- WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT AND COMMUNICATION
Winners will be announced through Dettol’s official social media platforms and/or contacted directly via Instagram and Facebook Direct Message or other contact details available with Reckitt or the Agency. If a selected participant fails to respond within the stipulated period of forty‑eight (48) to seventy‑two (72) hours from initial communication, Reckitt reserves the right to forfeit the gratification and select an alternate winner.
- PUBLICITY AND CONTENT USAGE RIGHTS
By participating in the Campaign, participants irrevocably grant Reckitt the right to use their name, social media handle, image, likeness, voice and submitted content, in whole or in part and images, videos taken during the meet and greet event with Mahendra Singh Dhoni for promotional, advertising, marketing and communication purposes across digital, print or offline media, without any additional compensation, notice or approval, perpetually.
Participants waive any right to claim moral rights or royalties in relation to such use.
- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONTENT RESPONSIBILITY
Participants represent and warrant that the content submitted as part of the Campaign is original, does not infringe any intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights of any third party, and complies with applicable laws and platform policies. Such rights shall be irrevocable, perpetual and applicable worldwide, without any obligation to provide prior notice or compensation to the participant.
Reckitt reserves the right to remove, report or disqualify any content that it deems inappropriate, offensive, unlawful, misleading or non‑compliant.
- LIABILITY AND RISK
Participation in the Campaign is entirely at the participant’s own risk. Reckitt and the Agency shall not be responsible for any technical failures, platform issues, network errors, data losses or submission failures. Reckitt shall also not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, cost or expense suffered by a participant arising from participation in the Campaign or use of the gratification, except to the extent liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
- Data Collection and Privacy
By participating in the Campaign, participants consent to the collection, use, storage and processing of their personal information by the Company and its appointed Agency solely for the purposes of Campaign administration, validation, winner communication and gratification fulfilment. Such information may include names, social media handles, contact details and any other information reasonably required for the Campaign. The Agency shall process and store such personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. While all reasonable efforts will be made to safeguard such personal data, the Company and the Agency shall not be responsible for any loss of data due to technical failures, force majeure events or circumstances beyond their reasonable control. In the event of any data breach, the Company and the Agency shall take appropriate steps in accordance with applicable law.
The Company and its appointed Agency shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, unauthorised access, data breach or security incident arising from or attributable to the acts, omissions, systems or policies of third‑party platforms including Instagram and Facebook, over which the Company and the Agency have no control. Participants acknowledge that participation through such platforms is at their own risk and subject to the respective platform’s terms, policies and privacy practices.
- GENERAL CONDITIONS
Reckitt reserves the right to disqualify any participant found guilty of misuse, fraud, misrepresentation or violation of these T&Cs. Reckitt’s failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of such provision. If any clause is held invalid by a court, the remaining clauses shall continue in full force.
- GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Campaign.
- ACCEPTANCE
Participation in the Campaign constitutes full, free and unconditional acceptance of these T&Cs. The Company reserves the right to verify the eligibility and authenticity of any participant and may disqualify any entry if the information provided is found to be false, misleading, incomplete or fraudulent at any stage of the Campaign.
- Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for any delay, disruption, modification or cancellation of the Campaign or gratification due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government actions, technical failures, illness, unavailability of talent, pandemics or any other force majeure circumstances.
ANNEXURE I
CAMPAIGN PARTICIPATION MECHANICS
To participate in the #DettolIcyCoolChallenge, participants are required to create and upload an original video performing the challenge. The challenge involves a beer pong game style wherein placing multiple cups in the configuration of the numeral “7” on a flat surface. The participant must then, from a short standing distance, throw or drop ice cubes by hand with the objective of successfully landing the ice cubes inside the cups. The act should be performed consecutively as part of a single recorded attempt and may be carried out individually or jointly with another participant.
Each participant is permitted to participate only once in the Campaign. Participation through multiple accounts by the same individual is strictly prohibited. In case of detection of multiple entries from the same individual, all such entries shall be disqualified. There is no alternate mode of participation in the Campaign.
The video must be uploaded on Instagram (www.instagram.com) and/or Facebook (www.facebook.com) , either as a Reel or Post, during the Campaign Period. Please note that any other mode of entry except reel or post on the abovementioned platforms is not acceptable for the purposes of this Campaign. Participants must tag @dettol.india on Instagram and @Dettol India on Facebook and use the hashtag #DettolIcyCoolChallenge.
The participant’s Instagram and Facebook profile must remain public throughout the Campaign Period to enable validation. Only one entry is permitted by each participant. Entry must be unique. Incomplete, plagiarized or non‑compliant entries will be rejected.
The content must be original, must not include offensive, obscene, defamatory or unlawful material, and must comply with Instagram and Facebook community guidelines.
The video submitted as part of the entry must adhere to Instagram’s and Facebook Reel/Post duration guidelines. There is no separate minimum or maximum duration specified by the Campaign, provided all challenge requirements are clearly demonstrated. However, reel can go maximum up to a minute and not more then that.
The Participant automatically enters the Contest upon uploading the reel/post on Instagram and Facebook as per the Campaign guidelines.
Participants confirm that they are physically fit to perform the activity and undertake the challenge voluntarily, using safe surroundings. Reckitt shall not be responsible for any injury or accident arising from unsafe participation.
ANNEXURE II
WINNER SELECTION AND GRATIFICATION DETAILS
Only one (1) entry per participant will be considered valid for the Campaign. Multiple submissions by the same participant will not be accepted and may lead to disqualification. Entries shall be shortlisted based on creativity, compliance with Campaign guidelines and originality, and final selection may involve a random draw from among the shortlisted eligible entries as determined by the Agency decision. Reckitt’s determination in this regard shall be final and binding.
Winner/Winners of the selected entry may stand a chance to meet Mahendra Singh Dhoni and participate in an exclusive activity, subject to availability, scheduling and logistical feasibility. The gratification is strictly non‑transferable, non‑exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other consideration.
The meet‑and‑greet experience does not include reimbursement or coverage of any travel, boarding, lodging, meals, logistics or other personal expenses. Winners shall be solely responsible for making their own arrangements and bearing all related costs. The Company’s role is limited to facilitating access to experience and does not extend to funding or managing any ancillary arrangements.
Winner/Winners will be announced on Dettol’s official social media channels and contacted directly through Instagram and Facebook direct messages after the Campaign ends on 31 May, 2026. Failure to respond within the stipulated timeframe will result in forfeiture of the gratification. No separate confirmation message or email will be sent upon successful submission of entries. Participants are advised to ensure that their entries are uploaded correctly and comply with all Campaign requirements.
Entries created in collaboration with another individual are permitted. However, such entries will be treated as a single entry, and in case of selection, the gratification will be awarded jointly or to one representative, at Reckitt’s discretion.
We can have 3 winning entries for the Campaign however Reckitt reserves the right to modify the number of winners at its discretion.
Winners shall not use, reproduce, record or monetize the name, image, likeness, voice or personality of Mahendra Singh Dhoni for their own commercial, promotional or endorsement purposes.
